During the Vierdaagsefeesten in Nijmegen – the festival programme that accompanies the famous four day marching event taking place every third week of July and managing to turn the entire city of Nijmegen into a festival ground for a week – Galerie Bart was asked to organise an art exhibition in the magnificent Stevenskerk. I was invited by them to create a site specific installation in the church. The installation reacted on the special, sacral and formidable surrounding of the church. The exhibition ran from 16 to 23 July and attracted many interested visitors. In the evenings, the installation could be admired during the special live music programme ‘Stevenskerklive‘ set up by Doornroosje.
